This new digital information system is an extension of the benefits of Servialertas, a completely free multimedia service aimed at informing customers about issues related to the drinking water and sanitation contract. Until now, Servialertas allowed the client to receive information on issues related to bank refunds (for example, if the bank does not pay for a payment related to water service); meter readings (if the operator has not been able to read), warnings of excess consumption, incidents in invoices or new services of the company, among others. With the new online alert system, Servialertas also allows citizens, through SMS or email, to receive information regarding the evolution of the cuts in the network that will affect their water supply, such as the date and time scheduled for start as well as the restoration of service. The Servialertas service was launched with the aim of enhancing closeness to the customer in line with the commitments made by the company in terms of links with society, transparency, promotion of digitalization and excellence in service. Online alerts on incidents in water supply represent another step for the company in the constant improvement of customer service and sensitivity to the needs of citizens. To enjoy the Servialertas digital alert system, the customer must only provide their contact information (mobile phone number and / or email) through the different Customer Service channels.
