Aquona in Zamora presents a new call for collaboration with local associations for projects relating to childhood, health and the environment

Aquona in Zamora presents a new call for collaboration with local associations for projects relating to childhood, health and the environment

Aquona renews its commitment to social promotion in Zamora through the ‘Water, Health and Childhood’ programme.

Aquona Zamora presents a new call for applications to collaborate with local associations on projects relating to childhood, health and the environment.

  • To promote a fairer society and provide opportunities for the children and young people who need it most is the main objective of the ‘Water, Health and Childhood’ plan.
  • Aquona will cover 70% of the financing of projects selected in this second call for 'Water, Health and Childhood'.
  • Aquona presents a new call for applications to assist and develop projects within associations that promote actions and activities to improve people's lives in terms of health.

This morning at the Zamora Town Council, the second call for the 'Water, Health and Childhood' project, an initiative of Aquona and the capital's Town Council, was presented. The initiative is designed to help associations develop projects that improve people's quality of life, particularly in childhood. The mayor of Zamora, Francisco Guarido, the director of Aquona in Zamora, Nicolás Esmorís, and the councillor for Social Services, Inmaculada Lucas, presented the second edition of 'Water, Health and Childhood'.
After a year of intense collaboration and project development with the Red Cross, Apego Lácteo, Autismo Zamora, Azdem and Trascampus—the five associations that participated in the 'Water, Health and Childhood' programme in 2018—Aquona renews its charity agreement with local entities that promote actions to improve the quality of life of people and childhood.
Projects that are submitted should focus on one of the following areas: the social development of children and young people with illnesses, care for basic needs, and development of activities that promote the importance of caring for and protecting health and the environment.
With this initiative, Aquona Zamora continues to support the city in three areas: water, health and childhood. The initiative provides an opportunity for associations to obtain funding to undertake the projects that they believe are necessary to promote this message and contribute to the development of young people and children.
To participate, entities or associations should submit their projects before 22 January 2019 in PDF format to the following email address: nesmoris@aquona-sa.es.
Projects should be focused on the social development of children and young people with illnesses, attending to their basic needs, as well as the development of actions to promote the importance of caring for and protecting health and the environment.
