Aquona y los bancos de Alimentos se unen a favor de la sostenibilidadAquona and Food banks unite in favor of sustainability

Ayúdanos a cuidar del planeta y las personas con un gesto sostenible

On World Environment Day, launch the new campaign by which Aquona will donate 1 euro to Food Banks for each new addition to its digital bill.
Caring for the planet and people is the main objective of the campaign launched by the Food Banks and Aquona, coinciding with the celebration of World Environment Day.
In this way and taking into account the social and economic crisis derived from the Covid-19 pandemic that affects thousands of families in Spain, Aquona wants to join the very important social work carried out by the Food Bank. This company that provides daily services related to sustainable water management to more than 1 million people in Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León will donate 1 euro for each client that activates their digital bill. This initiative begins on June 5 and will be in effect until December 31.
The director of Aquona, Jesús García del Valle, explained that he explained that this alliance represents “a step forward towards the social pact for a fair and inclusive recovery that we propose, in addition to being a call to action to all our clients so that With a sustainable gesture, we can help all those families who are in vulnerable situations ”.
And it is that this call to action is also a step forward towards digitization in favor of the natural environment and the environment. With the digital invoice, Aquona users will be able to consult their invoices in an agile, comfortable and secure way, without the need to make prints and reducing CO2 emissions compared to other invoice formats. Registration in the digital invoice can be processed through this form or on the website www.aquona-sa.es.
Solidarity and sustainability are two concepts that converge in this new campaign that tries to promote recovery without leaving anyone behind at a time when thousands of people are unemployed or at risk of social exclusion. Since March 2020, Food Banks have registered an increase in demand of 50%, so the work of these non-profit entities is now more necessary than ever.
