The Zamora Town Council and Aquona seek to improve the life of its citizens through support schemes such as subsidised tariffs and a social fund, to help them in paying their bill.
Subsidised tariffs
The subsidised tariffs offer a reduction in the service fee for specific groups in situations of need or danger of social exclusion.

Tariffs for pensioners
Considering age criteria, the general category includes people aged over 65 and under 75. The special category includes people aged over 75. In both cases, the only income shall be a payment that is no more than 1.2 times the Spanish public multiple effect income indicator (IPREM) divided into 12 payments.

Tariff for people with disabilities
The general category includes all people who have a disability equal to or above 33% or less than 65%. The special category includes people with a disability equal to or above 65%.

Large family tariff
The general category includes subjects who hold the large family certificate. The special category includes subjects whose members meet the conditions of a special large family.

Tariff for people who are unemployed
The general category includes all people who have been unemployed in the long term, that is, all those registered as jobseekers for the last 12 months continuously. The special category includes beneficiaries of the Guaranteed Minimum Income (RGC) from the Autonomous Government of Castile and León who have exhausted Public State Employment Service (SEPE) benefits.

Subsidy percentages
* For taxpayers who meet a requirement at special level: 90% of the fixed fee, regardless of other special-level requirements.
* For taxpayers who meet a requirement at the general level: 50% of the fixed fee, increasing by 10% for each additional requirement of the level of general intensity.
Applications for subsidies must be made in Zamora Town Council, submitting the documentation required for each case as well as any other documents that are considered relevant.
